Any ideas when those p-p games will be replayed ? Enjoyed today's Edinburgh South game, kept me busy on a Sunday !

Either on the 3rd round date (19th November), midweek (neither have lights though EK could perhaps move to K-Park), or a Saturday (if there's a fair amount of fixture reshuffling - Whitletts are the only team free, on the 12th).

Was at Swifts-KilsythAth game. My thoughts on the match up.

If you didn't know beforehand who is Tier 6 and who is Tier 10, it became evident pretty quickly. The team in yellow were quicker of thought,  action and crisper in the tackle and with their passing.

Although Swifts dominated 1st half possession, it was hotly contested and chances even for both sides with each keeper called into action. Athletic snatched a lead just before half-time from a poorly defended corner.

2nd half was a different story with Swifts always on top and created enough clear goal scoring opportunities to avoid entering the 88th minute still behind. The 2 late goals could have been avoided, the 2nd direct from a free-kick was a decent strike but with no pace and it was inevitable it was going in, with the Athletic keeper still thinking about the equaliser.

It could have been a different story if the AR and ref  had seen a clear handball from a Swift defender, although there was a case for a push on him that preempted the handball.

All in all a deserved win for the Tier 6 side. Huge kudos to Athletic for a spirited, well organised and skillful display.

Both teams played the ball on the astro with no little skill, a highly contested game played in good spirits by both with no histrionics on the pitch or from the sidelines. A fine advert for non-league football.

Postponed for the fourth time having been reversed back to Lesmahagow (explanation from Whitletts below). Think at this rate it'll need to be played on a neutral plastic pitch somewhere (Bonnyton?) next Saturday to keep the cup on track.

Now postponed due to the pitch, probably should've hired Stark's Park to get it played...

...not after Dundonald Bluebell refused to play on plastic on Saturday !

Shotts boss: Dundonald Bluebell were 'cute' with pitch switch 'shambles' - Daily Record

It'll be interesting to see what happens next.
