FairWeatherFan
Celtic and Rangers in for one season turned out to be correct. Only because Hearts have joined the party. With debut seasons for Cowdenbeath and Tranent Juniors. The SPFL fixture list is due out next week on the 17th. Which means the Lowland should follow about a week later. Berwick Rangers Bo'ness United Broomhill Caledonian Braves Celtic B Civil Service Strollers Cowdenbeath Cumbernauld Colts Dalbeattie Star East Kilbride East Stirlingshire Edinburgh University Gala Fairydean Rovers Gretna 2008 Heart of Midlothian B Rangers B The Spartans Tranent Juniors University of Stirling On paper it should be more competitive at each end this season. No clear favourite at the top. Even at the bottom it might be less obvious. Dalbeattie Star have been gutted so far this close season. They've just lost Jack Dickinson and last season's top goalscoerer Russell Currie to league rivals Gretna 2008. More worryingly they've lost 6 regulars to WoSFL bound Threave Rovers.

craigkillie
All 3 colt teams to go 1-2-3 in the league.Hearts Colts will be relatively shite and finish about 8th. Rangers and Celtic could easily be 1-2 though.
leomessi1984
Some interesting signings from Civil Service in Laird & Balatoni. They were solid last year and with a young team it'll only help with SPFL experience coming in.
Deanburn Dave
Gary Miller (35) signs for East Kilbride from Falkirk FC. Another signing to strengthen an already strong team. Reckon EK are making a big push this season to get a chance of Tier 4.

Does that mean that GFR gets three votes (including a casting vote) for any other contentious decisions?

FairWeatherFan
Wasn't the Chairman from Gala and Vice-Chairman from East Kilbride? So either way it's a doubling the presence of a club on the board. Think it's just highlights how the League is struggling considering how toxic the job has become.

Evidence is there from last season. Rangers were top of the lowland league when the awkward questions were asked of the LL Chairman about the agreement with SFA and was it ratified. Conveniently, Rangers then had a bad run of form and lost the lead of the league and never looked like regaining it.
craigkillie
As far as I remember, Bonnyrigg were always in control of the division last season.
