Bo'ness Athletic pushed CSS hard only to lose in the additional 30mins, while Edinburgh Utd led the city's University before ultimately crashing. Among the 'internal' ties West Calder winning at Haddington after extratime the clear stand-out. Heriot-Watt Uni defeating Inverkeithing also notable, as was Coldstream beating Luncarty given their respective starts in the league. Lochore eliminated LTHV plus Armadale beat Leith. Kirkcaldy & Dysart and Rosyth also gave Broxburn and Linlithgow respectively real big scares. Tweedmouth were sensationally 4-0 up on Edinburgh South at HT and yet lost 4-5.
