It’ll be Jack Ross

Name change to Hank Scorpio if I’m wrong

Jack Ross would be good for the banter aspect, but he's wanting a small fortune apparently. Then again, United love just throwing cash at stuff! Wouldn't surprise me!

So who's next? Usual list applies.

I see you’ve left James McPake off your list, can’t understand why.  In his absence I suppose I’ll have to go for Mark McGhee.

Probably because he's just joined Dunfermline m8. Or he would've been.

So I see the news about Courts leaving and immediately think:

”Ah well, did a good job but I’m still not 100% convinced by him. Gives us the chance to get Jack Ross in.”

Then I see some of the names on the list.

Then I think:

“I’m not sure Ross would work with a guy like Asghar above him”.

And then I remember the last recruitment “process”.

And now I’m absolutely shiting myself.

In regards to Ross, there's a boy that does seem to genuinely be ITK with Dundee on our own forum (went through all of his posts and only produced one dud that I can see):

A wee true story I can now share about the Jack Ross and Shaun Maloney offers.

Jack Ross was number one choice and was offered the job to which he declined. Focus then put on Shaun Maloney and everything agreed.

Jack Ross contacts John Nelms to advise he has made huge mistake and wants job.

Shaun Maloney advised we want to wait before making decision.

Press conference date agreed with Ross and verbal deal agreed.

Ross then contacts Nelms  to advise he can’t take job as his wife won’t let him get a flat up here on his own. Deal off.

Shaun Maloney finds out about deal being agreed with Ross and pulls out.

Focus then moves to Gary Bowyer which was done very quickly since contact only made towards end of last week.

So if United want JR, they'll need to convince the wife.

I’ve heard that she’s looking for any excuse to divorce him.

No, wait, that’s my wife…

Add Gordon Forrest to the list, have heard Asghar is a fan.

I’m torn between Tony being too thin skinned (lol) for the inevitable shit shower that will rain on his big baldy napper if he appoints his young lad or, still on a mad buzz after Tam Courts was a relative success and him being COMPLETELY FUCKING VINDICATED, maybe that Bond villain ego of his will flick two digits at the naysayers screaming nepotism and get young Adam in the door.

Jack Ross would be my pick but not sure he’d want to work under big Tone.
