My thoughts on this week's 'upsets' and how they change the expected qualifiers, based on my own predictions.

A: Napoli hammer Liverpool to all but guarantee at least 3rd place. Liverpool still favourites to top the group but it's a lot tighter now.

B: Atletico beat Porto and strengthen their position as outright favourites to win the group. Brugge beat Leverkusen to make things interesting for the Europa league spot, but remain likely to finish bottom.

C Bayern win at Inter, so Barcelona look like favourites for 2nd and Inter look likely for the Europa spot. 

D Sporting hammer Frankfurt away to nudge themselves into the favourites position for second place, in a league where the 3 lesser teams were neck and neck. Frankfurt now look likely to finish last. 

E: Chelsea lose in Zagreb, making Milan favourites to top the group. Chelsea will be looking over their shoulder at Salzburg. 

F: Shakhtar win in Leipzig, moving them from favourites to finish bottom to favourites for 2nd place.

G: Everything went as expected. The Sevilla v Dortmund games are the only interesting ones here. 

H: As above, but with Juventus and Benfica.

Brilliant performance and deserved win for Napoli but if Matip had started instead of Gomez then the score line would not have been so emphatic.
