2022/23 UEFA Nations League

Despite having serious depth (maybe lacking a true star) Southgate makes Clarke look like a flexible, progressive manager. This England side is so cautious and negative. They only look a threat on transitional counter attacks.

watching the Ukraine game the Wales defenders, particularly Ben Davies, were like men possessed, blocking every shot, getting a diving foot on any goalward bound shot. We don't have that at the moment and that's the difference. Whether that dies off when Bale retires or not remains to be seen but a few moral destroying losses should help get them back where they belong.

Keiffer Moore also turns into a monster when he plays for Wales.

Not sure, he's not one of the ones I have an effigy of on a dartboard anyway.

Ref's generally seem to be letting more things go these days but surely that shouldn't extend to some carthorse punting someone in the shin after being hilariously megged.

There's surely no space for anything other than Mike McCurry's ugly fizogg?

Surely Maguire has to be binned for the World Cup.

Sacrilege.

Both these teams are painfully boring, but England lucked out with their WC draw and should at least get to the knockouts. I don't fancy this Germany team getting past Spain, Japan and Costa Rica.
