Redactle - A daily puzzle game

Redactle is a daily browser game where the user tries to determine the subject of a random obfuscated Wikipedia article, chosen from Wikipedia's 10,000 Vital Articles (Level 4).

A new puzzle will be available every day at 11:00 AM CDT (16:00 UTC).

Follow Redactle on Twitter @RedactleGame.

How to Play

Type a word into the input box and press Enter or the Guess button.

All occurrences of that word will become unredacted in the article body.

To win, figure out the title or subject of the article.

Informative and infuriating in equal measure. My best so far is 35, my worst is 709.

Picked a good day to start this. Took 272 guesses and 39.71% accuracy. I knew the subject early on but it doesn't help when you don't know anything about the subject. Even cheating by searching for fragments of sentences I had managed to uncover didn't make a difference.

Thanks Miguel, for ruining my already miserable life.

29 for the #53 44.83%. Couple of lucky guesses but in an area im supposed to know stuff about anyway.

The couple before that though were near 300 before I kicked the cat, put a foot through the telly and gave up.

Hate it, absolutely hate it.

When does todays one appear.....?

My record (bad) is about 650. That was for Singapore, but tbf to me, it was my first bash.

346 for today although I do turn on automatic pluralisation which effectively doubles my guess count.
