If he’s being offered 2/3 years - that’s going to be tough to knock back, especially given the injury record. Am inclined to trust Beuker at this stage. You’re not gonna become millionaires playing at this level so why not try and make as much money as you can for your family. Coyle seemed incredibly understanding of his situation on the radio. Let’s be honest, if he’s getting an offer that can’t allow us to compete with, it’s going to be a hell of a wage Going forward, it’s a hell of an opportunity for either Henderson or shields to make themselves a hero. Horrible for QP though, make no mistake about it. Top goal scorer lost during a title push. What a load of utter pish mentioning a baby for taking a deal hahaha! Footballers pick the best deal for them regardless of having a wain or not!! It’s a ruthless business and players need to look after themselves sometimes.
