February and March home games announced to be played at Stenhousemuir. February confirmed as Friday night games and March to be played on the weekend of ???????. Bet they are a Friday as well. Utter shambles. Three full seasons away from our own stadium and what have we got to show for it? Possibly the worst stadium in the SPFL which is unfit for the purpose for our ambitions. Please, Dempster and Hunter - just go now. I'll put the lights out - if we have got any.

Yet another entry date come and gone. Why can't the club tell us what is happening - what's causing the delay now? This really is an embarrassment. It's the talking point of any discussion about the club and not the great work of Owen Coyle and the team on the park.

Let’s be quite honest. Is any Queen’s Park fan going to believe a single thing Leeann Dempster says about the stadium? She should resign. It’s pretty clear that she carries neither the confidence or trust of the wider support.

I can't see a game scheduled for Syngenta on 4th March and Stenny are away to Annan, so in theory our game against Morton should be on the Saturday at Ochilview. But then why can't they commit to that?

Stenny are at home on 11th March, Syngenta are at home on 18th March and then Stenny are at home again on 25th March. The fact our game against Raith has already been announced for the Friday night would suggest Stenny aren't keen on their games being brought forward to accommodate us (why should they?), so you've got to imagine the games against Cove and Arbroath will also be played on Friday nights, but we might be able to come to an agreement with Syngenta for the Caley Thistle game to be played on the Saturday evening with Syngenta playing earlier in the day.

(Few things can provide a better illustration of the shambolic way the club is being run off the pitch right now than just how many times I've found myself saying/typing the word 'Syngenta' in the past six months. Can't be long before my daughter starts saying it.)

The Arbroath game is being played on the Saturday of the Scotland game so they can use that as an excuse to move it to the Friday night

This club needs an actual fan to start writing these updates. Someone who can read it and say…

‘you know what, that’s all a load of shite, tell the truth and stop treating your loyal fan base like customers and idiots’

You might end up with the Saturday if Stenny follow the lead of East Fife, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Morton and Ayr (so far) and move their game to the Friday night to avoid clashing with Scotland.

Frankly, if you couldnt guarantee stable fixtures without all this shuffling around, you shouldnt have been allowed to play in the grown up leagues.

You know who else had an unsuitable stadium and ended up getting a waiver to make a mockery of this division?  Gretna.

Surely putting ‘test events’, e.g. Queen’s Park’s final two home league games which could decide their promotion to the Premiership would be the most ludicrous thing the board have managed throughout all of this?

Club’s biggest game since the First World War shifted to a bus shelter in unfamiliar territory for the players, on a pitch that hasn’t been used, in front of about 800 people.

She only needs the trust of one man.

If only the fans had some kind of club, an association or something like that.🤔 One voice.

Test events don’t need to be the first team. Your nightmare scenario is most probably what will happen.

Well, honestly...its a bit annoying.  Way back in the dawn of time, Arbroath got promoted to division 1.  However, our stadium wasnt up to scratch, so we needed to spend everything we had on a new stand and segregation.  No ifs, no buts.  The result was severe financial limits that took 10 years to recover from.

When Gretna got promoted, their ground was a shambles, didnt meet criteria, but they got a 1 year waiver as they had plans for an eco stadium, so they got promoted with a total joke of a stadium.  And now we have Queens.  Stadium plans a total shambles, no idea when construction will be finished, seemingly unable or unwilling to play 3pm saturdays in the stadium you are clearly the junior tenants of, and talking about using potentially crucial football matches as "test events".  You shouldn't have been allowed up if you didn't have a proper plan in place.

I think most of us probably agree with all this...

...apart, of course, from the last sentence :)

It’s an interesting summary, but not from the viewpoint you’re staring from. Despite not being in the room, not one QP fan on here would imagine anything other than Dempster committing, earnestly, to the beaks that our stadium “would be open for the start of the season” which is what she told club members back in February. Without blinking once. What’s interesting is that whilst we’re all pissed off, maybe somebody at the SPFL is also pissed off. Card marked. Hopefully!

Laughable to think she was once being touted as taking over Presidency at the SFA. Can’t wait for Netflix to make the movie.

No Queens supporter should be surprised at this .

We have all looked at Lesser is the past weeks and muttered it will never be ready for Feb.

All that's happened is that we have been given the bad news a wee bit earlier.

What a farce !

lots of good work on the park and now the focus ,rightly so will be on off the field affairs.  Wonder if all the recent publicity about us being top of league , stadium not finished  etc has led to this announcement.

You couldn't make this up.

It’ll be Stenny for the season. Kicking the can down the road until March is fooling nobody. Another in a long line of half-truths and evasion.

Thinking of getting my dad home/away shirt for 80th. I've got an Irn Bru one and it comes up small. Not sure of size yet but would guess he normally takes a Large. Can anyone advise what sizing is like on the current shirt?
