The Big Queen's Park FC Thread

Recommended Posts

Let us hope this is the start of getting relations with the existing support on a better footing. And the with the informal meetings taking place this week, at Lesser, am beginning to feel hopeful that good news about moving back to the Southside is not too far behind.

Only then can we seriously tackle the important task of growing the fanbase.

Aye, about time. Maybe the great away support at Inverness helped to bring them round - it was a great turnout for such a long distance and a bus that was way too small!

Getting back from Ochilview on a Friday evening was going to be difficult at best!

Alan Nixon from the Sun reporting Queen's Park will be signing Crystal Palace u23 captain Malachi Boateng on loan.

It's on his patreon account but you can see the start of the stories without paying.

This story has been picked up by a number of other media websites now including "footballghana.com" so hopefully happening soon.

Confirmed you're killing overseas streaming.

I suspected you might continue by piggybacking off the pixellot system at Ochilview which is still in use.

I also am doubtful Stenhousemuir can maintain a stream in the long run using pixellot on their own. Which makes me wonder why they aren't getting streams set up to monetise off Syngenta too.

Your game against Cove on the 27th will presumably be moved as Syngenta have been drawn at home in the Scottish Cup preliminary round (against a team they are likely to beat, fortunately you're away on the first round date).

Unfortunately the QPSA were let down by the bus company when it came to the size of the bus on Saturday.

But hey, at least it had a toilet with an amazing view

Some guff off it after flushing, right enough. A number blaming the chemicals, but I’m unconvinced.

Scott Williamson to start on Friday please. Hat trick against a decent hibs side today. Genuinely not been this excited about a striker in a long time

So far this summer he’s scored x1 against Zagreb, x2 against a very strong rangers side, x1 against EK, x3 against hibs and not to mention his excellent goal in the cup against Forfar. Obviously it matters most in the league matches but he’s looks more than ready for championship football

It’s a shame it’s buried in a piece about live streaming, but the second last para is unequivocal re Ochilview and getting there.

The main focus of everyone at Queen’s Park is to return home to our southside roots as quickly as possible. We recognise that playing some “home” games at Stenhousemuir is far from ideal, however the club is trying to make a trip to Ochilview as easy as possible with a free bus transport scheme open to all Queen’s Park supporters.”

We are where we are. Whatever’s happened off the pitch, this playing group still need our support. They looked gutted after Saturday’s game which sends a strong signal to me. Time to get behind our favourites 🏁🏁🏁

Would you go two up front with Murray and leave out a midfielder? They linked up well together when he came on v Forfar. I certainly wouldn't leave out any of Savoury, McPake or Thomas (who had his best game so far at Inverness)

Exciting times though with so many different attacking options.
