What was the script with that game yesterday? Did many fans travel over to Holland. That’s the type of pre season friendly you dream of. Ayr played in Sweden years ago and apart from that it’s been Ireland but any good trip for a pre season is a bonus. Beats a closed door game with Darvel.

The trip was arranged at pretty short notice unfortunately. Flights were ridiculously expensive unless you went at daft times  We were also due to play the magnificently named Go Ahead Eagles Deventer earlier in the day which would have given ever everyone a game but they pulled out. No doubt they were cacking it!

That looked even better when watching the highlights; played at a higher tempo than I was expecting for a pre-season game; Some of the Utrecht's passing was very slick and our four goals all taken very well.

I was already looking forward to the season ahead, that has just put it up a notch or two.

By Coyle’s own admission we are still 4 or 5 bodies short of what he wants. But it’s hard not to get excited (we all realise it’s only a friendly) when you have midfielders looking like goal threats and getting to the byline as often as they can.

Let’s see what will happen before the Inverness game on the 30th 🤞

I think your are spot on with this, accurate rather than cynical

Think that you are both spot on. Now all of a sudden they do not seem to want any fans under 12 ,even if they had a season ticket last year, unless their father is willing to pay £95, but Partick Thistle will let them in for only £30. Disgracefull.

and Ferrie did not put a foot wrong with a string of top rate saves.

I think he might have done better at their first goal tbh, rather than just push it out the six yard box for someone to tap in (especially when you see it from the net camera angle) However Longridge shouldn't have been so easily shouldered off the ball leaving Ferrie a bit exposed.

Apart from that, absofuckinlutely delighted with the overall performance of the lads. Murray was class and his work rate is exceptional. And Savoury looks pretty special. Getting excited now for Saturday

Absolutely dying for a rumour here. If Eze is on the way surely to god the paperwork and visas wait can't be that bad?

You are being very, very kind to both the Home Office and DWP here.
