Do we have any idea if non-season ticket holders will be able to use the bus/buses to get to Ochilview?

Would be surprised if it was actually full most weeks. Folk will drive etc. Ultimately, it’s not the fault of the fans that we are where we are. Bus voucher should come with any ticket sold however many days in advance of when they book buses. That way they’ll be able to know who they’re catering for. Absolutely no way PATG fans should be affected adversely by this.

Goes back to what I was saying about tiers of fans membership/ST/PATG. We should all be under the same umbrella. Someone who works shifts or has young kids, any other commitments aren’t any less passionate about the club. Circumstances dictate what folk can and can’t do. Will be fans who pay at the gate who go to Cove and other far flung grounds when they can and members who don’t. Loyalty is being there when you can and giving what you can. Not wherever ticket you hold.

Strongly suspect that the club will almost be pulling people off the streets to go to games when the reality of Stenny kicks in, though.

This from the OS...pretty much wipes out the PATG customer.

'The club will be providing Free Transport to and from Ochilview for every League and Cup fixture for all Members and Season Ticket Holders – more details on transport will be announced soon.'

When we played at Airdrie for a year it was free for ALL supporters regardless of "status"

I realise they are using this as a carrot to encourage folk to get season tickets and they probably think free buses justifies the prices for concessions and kids but nobody is going to be convinced by that.  Not our fault they've fucked the Lesser rebuild

Surely commonsense will prevail and everyone will be able to get on these buses (even if they charge others a few quid, the equivalent of a return bus ticket to Firhill last season)  If not then they are effectively discouraging us from bringing along kids or other family members/ mates to watch us now and again who aren't diehards like the rest of us. How are we supposed to get new fans by dividing the support like that?

Yeah - most exciting season ever coming up and I'm going to need to chuck the membership. Too difficult / too expensive to get along with the kids and if I can't take them, there's no way I can get along with any consistency.  Too much cash to 'donate' which is more or less what I've done the last couple of seasons.

Real shame as there was such a buzz coming out of the play-offs and I'd lost count of the people who were saying they wanted to get involved.

Sorry, but your final sentence is downright crass. You know nothing about my circumstances nor I yours but having lost a loved one to Covid I feel quite justified in my comment. Please think before typing.

Sorry to hear

But it doesn’t change the fact that the threat of getting ill has always been there, your whole life, yet I doubt you let it consume you or affect your behaviour before 2020

Letting it bother you or affect the way you behave and live your life now is no way to live. You going to do that for the rest of your days?

Sorry to hear this mate. It's pretty shite that you've had to make this decision.

I know members of the committee read this site. Well done to them 👏. What is it they actually do these days now we have a CEO and a commercial manager doing most things? I know what the treasurer does but what about the rest of them? Do they actually just sign off whatever Dempster tells them to?

If only we had some kind of formal meeting platform to direct these type of valid questions to the people running the club.

They’re definitely in Arnhem…. https://www.facebook.com/NKLokomotivaZagreb/

Oddly though they have advertised their friendly next week against Maccabi Tel Aviv, but not the Mighty Hoops. Heathens!

Sometimes you just need to throw the shovel away. Live and let live.

£95 for those 15 and under seems far too much for me. The club say they have "carried out a detailed benchmarking exercise" but a quick google shows lots of Scottish clubs offering far better deals for kids, some are even offering free season tickets. I'm just wondering what about our pricing is "new and innovative and rooted in the community"

Has Dempster carried out the benchmarking exercise against Arsenal instead of Arbroath?

Just found it hard to read. The fear of maybe getting ill making someone shut themselves off from people or stopping them from socialising and living their life

That threats always been there and always will be there so letting it affect your daily decisions seems sad

If people want to do that then I suppose that is up to them. For me personally its upsetting that people now feel that way that is all

No offence meant

To take people's minds of season ticket prices and covid risks, how about some wild speculation?

In my boredom I was studying the pictures from the training camp looking at the squad numbers to see if there was any indication of who's considered 'first choice'.

None of the pictures, or even the short video of the kit man laying out the tops, have a number 9 or 10 anywhere.

Could that mean that we've still got some 'first choice' forwards to come in that those numbers have been reserved for?

Yes, I am already bored stuck at home with the kids for summer 😄

Interview with Coyle in The Record the other day that he said he was looking to bring in 4 players who would be considered “starters.” One of whom was Eze.

Also said in an interview on the QP site last night that the squad in Holland is nothing like the squad we will have for the start of the season.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they tell us when the AGM is happening.. Funny how they no longer bother to tell us what each member of the committee has been doing all year. Like the good old days when El Presidente read out their CVs detailing all the so-called business acumen they each brought to the table

The number 9 shirt has been "retired" now Bob McHugh has left the club .

That’s the thing, the matter of time. It’s actually written into the Articles that it should be held in May. Hence why they just can’t glibly change it as it would necessitate a members vote. Instead, they just ignore it. I found the last impromptu one in August quite positive but sadly, like last August’s, it’s all been a damp squib regarding the non-playing events. I guess anything regarding money is increasingly awkward for the Director’s to discuss/explain.

In other news, I hear the owner of the Warrior’s Club is a bit moist at the thought of weegiecash coming through every couple of weeks. Glad somebody’s happy.
