What exactly is the neglect in management - spell it out. Come along to the next fan meeting and ask questions We can't really be taking much from the game as it wasn't really our first choice team. I was a bit confused with selection. I totally get the need to give players minutes but this now means our 'main players' will have missed match sharpness opportunity. Also, Maurice mentioned in interview that this was a perfect opportunity to keep players ticking over and fresh. Like I said though, not judging anything on game. Hopefully kick on vs Gretna next Saturday. Edited November 25, 2022 by silkybeath

It’s getting beyond a joke now.

That’s why you usually have bounce games behind closed doors as otherwise you get this over-emphasis on the result when you run out players on the fringes, rest key players, throw in some trialists. Doubtless Crossgates with many ex-Cowden players are right up for it but that’s an entirely different perspective.
cowdenbeath
I never read much into results in bounce games, their as mentioned played in private with no one knowing about them. As mentioned it was far from our normal starting line up fringe players getting game. time the same with trialists.

For quite a lot of the team, particularly the ones that joined in the close season, this is their first chance at regular first team football at senior level, many of these guys have played very few games in reality. True, we could do with winning some more of these tight games, but nobody is hammering us, so the players may be taking confidence from this. Jordan Armstrong certainly didn’t seem gloomy and down in that recent interview.
silkybeath
Fair point, but unfortunately winning brings confidence and that ability to see out a game. A team on a good run also gets that break of the ball. This is the case at all levels of football from children to professional. The young lads will improve further if and when results come. Hope the club ask Celtic to advertise it on their various social media sites, chance it’s could attract a decent amount and provide some income. While the thought of hordes of either of the uglies marauding round Central Park isn’t an appealing prospect, like to think that any making the effort to watch their youngsters might be relatively normal. I believe they will be welcoming both sets of fans back to the lounge after full time as two world cup games will be on, the junction bar supporters club along with cowden in the community and the club itself will be outside the gates collecting for Cowdenbeath foodbank so any loose tins at the back of the cupboard feel free to bring them.

Yeah, good idea with the lounge having the World Cup on, but I was more thinking of trying to get the word out to the Celtic fans at large, and getting them a long to the game, and getting their £10 off them There are probably a lot of them who are barely aware of the B team, but could maybe be tempted to venture out first team are not playing for a while.

Sure there’s been talk of his attitude towards the club and training which may have been unacceptable. More to it with this player than the face of it. Don’t think he drives either which doesn’t help matters.
