Bo'ness United 2022/23

That was  a game that neither side managed to control for any length of time.

Cluttered midfield encouraged both teams to play a lot of long balls.

Both teams will think they should have won.

High point- Alasson free kick

Low point- Nick Locke injury. Just fell to the ground holding his calf muscle.  Looked to be in agony.

Still top of the league !!

Cup game at Vale of Leithen on Saturday .

When we get back to League business v Hearts B we will probably be down to 3rd to 5th place.......so let's enjoy being top of the pile while we can !!

Two costly mistakes for the goals tonight but all credit to the team for coming back twice. Feels like 2 points dropped though. I’m assuming niggles to a couple players led to a reshuffle with 30 mins to go at 1-1. Hopefully rest a few on Saturday and back ready to go against hearts next week

A really good game but it does feel like 2 points dropped. We’ve done a lot right so far this season but the decision to substitute the entire midfield with 30 minutes to go when we were on top, was puzzling and in hindsight a mistake.
Great goal to salvage a point.

Good game tonight, think BU probably deserved to edge it but 2-2 not a bad result and top of the league. Alasson free kick was brilliant and thought they might kick on to win it from there but alas not to be. Big Watt up front did some amount of work but felt he was a bit isolated at times. Anyway a good night and lots to keep positive about

Aye let's not get too negative Stirling University are a good team and were well up for it tonight.

The current BU's are the best squad we have had for 4 or 5 seasons and appear capable of getting a top 6 finish in a highly competitive league.   ..........let the good times roll.

Mon the BU's !!!
