He's not good enough to be a regular starter for a top team but is a very good squad player, I'm surprised Chelsea aren't wanting to develop Pulisic a bit more, signing Sterling pushes him further out the door. I expect he will he will be a Ziyech type signing for Chelsea. Guardiola being totally baffled he never controlled the ball with the inside of his foot still one of the funnier moments in elite football recently. Kalvin Phillips will probably be going to Man City as cover for Rodri, he's no where as good obviously but helps their home grown quota and will be a Delph like player in their squad. Gundogan and Jesus are likely to leave City this summer. Pep needs to sell to raise cash for a CB and LB so Mahrez could be sold too. Ziyech and Werner may leave Chelsea.as they have other forward options in addition to Pulisic. Broja impressed on loan at Southampton. Hudson-Odoi was looking good when he got injured. If Tuchel wants to replace Lukaku, there is a buy-back clause in Abraham's contract at Roma. He'd be better value than Sterling. Derry Alli
Zinchenko is being sold (apparently to Newcastle or Everton) and City are signing Cucurella from Brighton. Jesus will only leave if City get £50m. Not sure Gundogan will leave, unless he asks to. Guardiola clearly trusts him in the bigger games.
Derry Alli
That's Lukaku to Inter on loan confirmed. €8m fee. Chelsea will need to bring in a striker now.
Bishop Briggs
Newcastle have agreed a deal with Burnley for Nick Pope. That will be a great signing, better than Henderson or Johnstone.
accies1874
That's Lukaku to Inter on loan confirmed. €8m fee. Chelsea will need to bring in a striker now.Nah just go without and win the league. That's how it works. It'll be interesting to see how City and Liverpool change with big money strikers added. Surely at least one of them will flop in an amusing way?
Bishop Briggs
Ryan Fredericks has left West Ham and signed for Bournemouth on a free transfer. Parker obviously rates him higher than Moyes did.

Surprised they didn't go for Tarkowski at the same time but were probably thinking they can do better. McGinn pushing to leave which is maybe good news for Scotland, he's a fantastic player but at the age he needs the big move now.
Deanburn Dave
Arsenal desperate to flog their £77M flop Nicholas Pepe but absolutely no interest from anyone. Going to cost the Gunners a fortune to move him on.

Scotty Tunbridge
Pope to Newcastle for £10 mill isn’t bad business. He’s an upgrade on Dubravka imo probably a decent keeper until they really want to start challenging.

It is, but probably reflects that no one else really wanted him, has quite big weaknesses for a modern game. Still it's far less than a worse goalie like Pickford went for.
accies1874
Kalvin Phillips to Man City close to being completed. Decent player but a lot of money (£45m-50m) for a rotation player.

senorsoupe
Nick Pope is good business for Newcastle, he's a good shot stopper and has good command of his area. He's not much of a sweeper keeper but he still does the basics of goalkeeping very well.

To put that deal and Pope's in perspective, City sold keeper Gavin Bazunu (no first-team appearances) to Southampton for a reported £12 million plus £3 million in add-ons.
Albertlegend
City signing Kalvin Philips comes across as having to sign an homegrown player on Football Manager just so you can put your European squad in.
Theroadlesstravelled
You’d think Philips will replace 37 year old Fernandinho as a bit part player in the squad.

This - that’s a great deal for Leeds as Phillips is an average player. In other news, Botman choosing a battle for 8th with Newcastle over Champions League football and a title race with Milan makes him the most money obsessed player of the window so far.
Derry Alli
Basically swapping out Gabriel Jesus for Kalvin Phillips is great business by City.
