accies1874
It's also really funny that Christian Eriksen is currently regretting picking Manchester United over Brentford

Fraser Fyvie
United should be punting Rashford straight to Kings Cross and on the Eurostar if PSG still want him.
eez-eh
So many wanky social media accounts over the summer were creaming themselves about Ten Hag instilling basic discipline at Man U that you’d expect of a part-time outfit, like “turn up to training on time”. Surprise surprise the players are still fucking shite.

Michael W
6 minutes ago, Mark Connolly said: The commentators have turned on Rashford A bang average player that escaped a lot of criticism last season on account of his off-field activities. The same problem continues to apply despite another change of manager: a lot of average/middling players on massive wages that they struggle to offload and terrible signing strategies meaning they paid a lot money for many of those average/middling players. There seems to be an ongoing delusion from Man Utd fans that the players will improve under a new manager, and they keep believing it despite it continually not happening.

eez-eh
I’m sure Frenkie de Jong is sitting there in Barcelona, watching this, frantically looking up houses in Cheshire so he can join the Man United Revolution.

Was reading the other week about some of the the players both Mourinho and Ole wanted to bring in but weren't allowed. Loads of them have now went on to become good players for other top clubs. I have no doubt the same will be happening here - but it was Ten Haag himself who wanted to bring Arnautovic in, and him who has signed and played a 5ft 9 centre half in a league where physicality is still important. His use of Eriksen as a DM, as well as his insistence on making shite players play out from the back is worth questioning too - but that goes back to your point about him only having them to pick from. Think regardless of his own ability, the daft hipster foreign coach not knowing our league narrative will take hold pretty quickly which will only end one way. Arsenal wanted him to play LB and DM. Apparently he chose Man Utd as they promised him he'd be used as a CB. Alarm bells were ringing when I saw his height. He'll get bullied.
pozbaird
The Sky commentary duo have pretty much dispensed with commentating on what they’re watching, and have gone full-pelt ‘Manchesssterunited in crisis’ mode.
Ro Sham Bo
Has OGS found employment since he left Man United? Because, as remarkable as it seems, his stock must have risen significantly over the last 6 months or so.
