They updated the handball law this summer to get rid of that ridiculous rule. The only time an accidental handball leads to a goal being ruled out is if the player whose arm it hits scores the goal.

They’ve taken one bad rule and made it worse.   Now there asking footballers to make the refs decision on if there was an accidental handball and let the ball cross the line or should they try and clear it and risk a rebound?

No accidental handball should ever be a foul, but reducing the number of cases where it applies is an improvement. The type of scenario that you described is incredibly rare anyway, and could equally apply to any other number of decisions not relating to handball.

I should think so too, he's shite.

It’s not just that he’s shite he just looks so disinterested out there and then goes on Twitter saying sorry time after time. They need to get him punted, he belongs in the championship.

Apparently Man U want to sign Marko Arnautovic?  Which is another signing that makes very little footballing sense but will possibly sell extra shirts

To whom exactly?

Milinkovic-Savic and Rabiot are both being linked as well as it appears more and more like De Jong is going to stay put.

They've also been linked with Sasa Kalajdzic who would surely represent a better option than Arnautovic.

It feels more and more like they are just throwing shit and seeing what sticks at this point. Milinkovic-Savic is a classy player and Rabiot when he's at all arsed and not throwing strops is passable...both are also upgrades on McTominay and Fred but really, are these two going to be the guys that get Man Utd back into the Champions League slots? There just seems to be no strategy at all around who they are going for and the brand of football they want to play.

There must still be a huge disconnect between the manager and the folk doing the signings. Because it makes absolutely no sense for Ten Hag to have gone into the season with the squad how it is.

Did he agree to work on a relative shoestring?

They were always gonna "leak" some transfer news after yesterday, but I don't think Rabiot was quite what the fans were looking for. Could've been about lowering expectations.

I'm pretty sure they were willing to pay for De Jong but that's obviously become a mess due to reasons, afaik, outwith their control. Maybe the Ronaldo ordeal has messed with things, plus they might not have been able to offload as many jokers as they anticipated (seems unlikely given the wages that have left).

Milinkovic Slavic is a wonderful player so hopefully he doesn't sign for Man Utd.

Would love Rabiot to though. He's an absolute whopper and a mummy's boy who would throw his toys out the pram sooner rather than later so +1 for him going there.
