lichtie23
There is no way this place can pass a safety test
ford prefect
This has all the signs of the preseason under that arsehole Stubbs. It's very worrying that we created almost nothing against a lowland league team.
Bobby_F
Truly terrible performance from Saints. I'm normally a bit of a happy clapper, but I'm worried.
lichtie23
3 points after a slow start but I don’t EVER want to have to go back to that ground. That’s simply not fit for football
Dirty Sanchez
Special mention for the guy who fell asleep on the grass at Cowdenbeath today and had to be woken at full time, and also to the guy who tried to convince him that the final score had been 7-0.
rainbowrising
Went to FC Edinburgh-Arbroath today as an interested neutral with a mate. Cant see anyone in FC that will cause a serious threat to most teams in Div 1. Arbroath played the better overall game but for long periods were ineffective. Bizarre that a dull game produced a couple of spectacular goals. The powers that be at Edinburgh presumably see Meadowbank as a step up in facilities but it has zero atmosphere. None. Pretty much ground zero view of the pitch as well. Headed to the Artisan for a pint with 10 mins to go. The punters in there are far more interesting! As a footnote, whoever designed a north facing stand in Scotland needs a serious word. Constant shadow in July, in the past in winter it was (and will be) fucking freezing. There may be zero atmosphere because most of those CITY fans who did the singing and chanting are voting with their feet in regard to the wholly unnecessary name change
Lichtielegend
It's like the stadium was designed solely to piss off the spectators. I feel bad for the home fans. It's such a poor fan experience that, along with the name change, I can see crowd figures dwindling.
SmokeyJoe
Very poor first half performance. Changes made a difference at half time and Bobby stole the show with two absolute belters. Terrible stadium terrible surface but that will get better after some games. Feel sorry for Edinburgh fans enduring that for the foreseeable. Desperately need them 2 strikers in that dc has spoken about cause hilson / LD simply aren’t good enough and can’t rely on shanks to get the goals for the team although the early signs are promising for shanks.

Lichtielegend
Just need a St. Mirren shootout win during the week and we win the group and hopefully that happens to allow us to go into the Airdrie game with the option of making some changes. In saying that, a win against Airdrie gives us a fair chance of being seeded in the 2nd round.

Aberdeen Cowden
Truly terrible performance from Saints. I'm normally a bit of a happy clapper, but I'm worried.Saints have the problems many clubs have. Powderpuff up front.I thought Aberdeen would struggle this season but Saints look much poorer.

In terms of physicality I think IF we get the Curtis Main from the end of the season back we can address that and IF we can keep Eamonn Brophy fit we should have enough up front………………2 big ifs though.
