2022/23 SLC Group A

Recommended Posts

We struggled creatively for the first half an hour, but it was a more encouraging end to the half. It is difficult to fathom how we are not ahead between the nonsense disallowed goal and a couple of other very presentable opportunities.

Kennedy has been bright. Polvara and Richardson started poorly but looked more settled latterly. Stewart and Scales have not been tested defensively, but Scales especially looks much more comfortable playing through the lines than any centre-back we had last season. Hancock struggled.

I dunno, I still think his end product is pretty pish and he’s not good enough to make a real impact in the premiership.

You will probably be proven correct. But, as a footballing simpleton, I like attacking players who are instinctively positive and want to drive with the ball, so a bit more forgiving towards Kennedy than most fans.
