Donathan
Exit polls seem to be pointing towards a hung Parliament with Labor as the largest party
Eednud
Scotty from Marketing has called Anthony Albanese to concede defeat. ALP rule for the next 3 years. Supposed big swing to independents and minor parties though but looks as though ALP will have a majority without need of the support of others. The Senate might be a different story although it was only a half Senate election this time.

Not surprised Morrison lost, if his footballing skills are anything to go by; he lacks awareness and has a tendency to play the man not the ball. Automatic red card imo. This ain't rugby.

Eednud
An interesting thing from this election is that the First Preference vote for the ALP and LNP coalition is the lowest in the last 50 years, if not a lot longer. ALP with 32.83% (2019 33.34%) and the LNP parties 35.77% (41.44%) according to the AEC website. As we have a preferential voting system the two-party preferred percentages are ALP 52.26% (48.47%) LNP 47.74% (51.53%). These figures will change as there was a lot of postal and pre-poll votes but it looks like the ALP will have at least 76 seats which allows them to govern in their own right. f**k knows how the Senate will end up as counting for the House of Representatives takes precedence and counting Senate votes takes fucking ages as the ballot papers have so many candidates and are ridiculously huge.
