I would prefer Thomson over Maloney though there is no justifiable reason for that as they are essentially at the same point in their managerial careers...

No idea who they are but Nelms was heading into Dens with a group of people about 15 minutes ago. One of them looked like they could be someone in football but couldn't put a name to the face. Could be completely irrelevant to the manager's job but aye.

Why are they even bothering to write in the names of Peter Van Der Veen and Peter Leven, haven't they been confirmed to be pisstakes?

Please can the club just have an ace up the sleeve for once and bring in someone interesting and capable from left field, it's all I ask.

I think Cran needed to pad out the article and had nothing else to write tbh

Edit to add, greenie for the last part - 100% what I'm hoping for too but its Strachan choosing so capable might be a stretch given he backed McGhee
