Ah, didn't take long for the celebration police to come along and decide exactly what level of enjoyment players and fans are allowed.

Probably a huge sense of relief more than anything else after hanging about the arse end of the table for most of the season.

Two fuckin garbage teams. No winners tonight as far as the rest of the top division is concerned

Are the rest of the top division overly concerned? This was a scrap that meant everything to the two teams involved. If your team was part of the proceedings would things be different?

Seems to be beyond some posters on here that we had to throw every man forward and inevitably conceded a couple more as a result.

Our first half was actually decent, probably one of our best performances in the play-offs but in the 2nd half we ran out of ideas. After the first goal we had nothing, and the deflected goal put it to bed. Going with 2 at the back at the end inevitably resulted in two cheap goals late on. St Johnstone deserved the win over the two legs, they were simply the better team.

Indeed, it was a tale of two breaks in the box, one fell to a striker and at the other end Billy McKay was unlucky that the ball didn't fall to him.

The deflection, as all deflections are, was unfortunate.

There wasn't any coming back from that and truth be told St Johnstone thoroughly deserved their victory.

I wish them the best for next year against the likes of Ross County, Dundee Utd, Hibs and Dundee.

No idea why most folk on here are having a go at Caley. They were by far the better team in the first half and if they had scored it could have been different. Also, the two late goals were scored because Caley had the bulk of their defence up the pitch trying to score, so no problem with the defending for either goal. Ridgers was anticipating a low shot for both late goals because most players don’t go for the dink in a one on one situation. Unlucky Caley.
