Guest Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 When you have 3 centre backs and you're building out from the back, get your wide centre backs really wide and that allows your wing backs to take up a much higher position. This high position from the wing backs helps open up space in the inside channels for the centre mids to provide a passing option to the centre backs. St J don't do this. Their wide centre backs don't go wide enough in build up which pulls their wing backs too deep.
