Not sure why folk are complaining about the quality of the pictures. The BBC aren’t beaming it, they are piggy backing off of some other broadcaster. It was the same for last seasons qualifiers as well. Better than not having the game live on tv which is what used to be the norm for qualifiers.

That doesn’t really help, because for a game in this country the BBC shouldn’t be “piggy backing” off anyone. They should be the host broadcaster.

That they aren’t is equally tin pot.

I know mate, the sheer cheek of football fans expecting the national broadcaster to show a showcase european game for one of its clubs in an even remotely competent and professional way.

I get that but was it not a last minute decision to show it?

And yet they wonder why some folk baulk at paying their licence fee..............

From memory, the BBC have rarely ever beamed European games at the qualifying stages. I’m just happy the games on TV when normally it wouldn’t be. The picture quality isn’t bothering me either.

It's a UEFA competition and UEFA have total control over whoever are showing the pictures. BBC have no say in it.

When the games have been in this country, the BBC have been host broadcaster.

Its overseas games they have no control over.

That’s not true, even in the centralised group stages.

I said when he signed that Tony Watt was a massive waste of an (massive) wage. He's still proving to be so. Fat diving waster.

I said when Steven Fletcher signed, he was an excellent signing. So far he's doing everything right. His hold up, one touch releases and aerial duelling all being top notch.

Levitt looks so confident in the middle of the park. Lovely player to watch.

Need more close ups of the Shed imo

No thanks....although it does seem to reveal that the price of "Pehs" cannot be too badly by the cost of living crisis.  Must be the most overweight crowd since the UEFA Cup Final
