Happy Gothenburg Day to all in the match thread

Make no apology for posting this again

It might be the final Gothenburg anniversary where we hold the honour of being the last Scottish club to win European silverware....☹️

Jenks also away and McCrorie injured

I didn't know Jenks was away, but he's barely played.

Hopefully the impact of McCrorie missing is mitigated by having Kennedy back. At least for 20 minutes or so until his next injury.

Only you could put a negative spin on Gothenburg Day

I suppose if we get a result tonight, Sunday will show us what Davidson would have done if we'd secured a play-off spot but we might now never know.

As it is, this manager that has apparently learnt so much this season will play the same tactics and pick mainly the same players and it'll be more of the same.

Clark

Cleary - Gordon - McCart

Rooney - Hallberg - Davidson - MacPherson - Brown

Hendry - May or Middleton

And he wonders why we can't score goals...

Callum Davidson, May 9: “We’ll see what the result is at Dens and from that we’ll make our decision on the team,” he said.”

Callum Davidson, May 11: “We’ve blocked out everything else completely,” he said. “Our focus is purely on winning our game. The result at Dundee doesn’t change that.”

Aye okay.

This is a beautiful encapsulation of what we are dealing with.

MacPherson injured, again?
And May. We'll probably never find out.

Signed 19 players this season and don't have a full bench. Guess we can confirm we'll never see MoH again.

Damaged his hamstrings smashing free kicks out the park while training.

A sub down too?

So presumably he'd dropped one of MacPherson or May and the other has been injured today.

I'm a bit concerned he thought that bringing Crawford in for MacPherson was an attempt to be bold and attacking, tbh. Hopefully its cleared up.
