I have higher hopes than usual for this crop. The transition is not always easy, but there are a few - and more than a decent chunk in forward positions - who seem to be good players and born goalscorers. I know hes not popular, but I think Steve Kean was right that - after U18, we really need a competitive league at a level just below 1st team (what we are amusingly calling the B team). Hopefully the next manager ditches him from the coaching side as he clearly has no idea.
