Telefunken U47
Well, if nobody else has a question, then I'll do one. Fairly easy this, who is this a quote from: "When I joined Rangers I immediately established myself as third choice left-half. The guys ahead of me were an amputee and a Catholic."? Telefunken U47
Correct - it was Craigy. Knew it wouldn't be long before someone got the answer (9 minutes!), but I thought it was such a good quote I'd put it in anyhow.
Telefunken U47
Okay then, here are another couple of quotes (I've got a book). Which ex-Scottish international said this? "It's very hard in England to keep up the macho footballer image if you have to go around the streets shouting 'Cuddles'." An anonymous (i.e. I don't know the person's name) spokesperson of which club made this statement? "There used to be gentlemen in British football, but there are none at Ibrox"

Guest Se Draca
Answer? Clyde. In 1904/5 Falkirk finished 2nd in the 2nd Div behind Clyde. The 1st div gurus decided to promote Falkirk instead - because they believed that Falkirk would bring more income in the way of gate receipts. Telefunken U47
It wouldn't be Ralph Brand (not the ex-Albion Rovers manager who played for some obscure Glasgow team in the 50's & 60's, the other one) would it?
SimonLichtie
Nope, he's a midfielder.

Musketeer Gripweed
As this thread has kinda fallen away, I will ask a new easy question to start it up again. Name each of the home countries and ROI's most capped player. The answer I have is over a year old but I doubt it will have changed in that time.
