Liam Polworth. A wage thief.

Remind me of Robbie Muirhead in his time with us. Lazy pile of pish

Jason Naismith is another who fits that description. Turgid Tommy didn't half sign some utter shite before Bowie came to his senses and bagged him.

For me a jobber is a guy who has been about for ages and should have packed it in by now. He was never great to start with, now he’s mid-30s and done. Foster fits the bill.

A jobber for me is someone who is routinely not very good at multiple clubs but always seems to be at a decent level. See Ross Callachan, Martin Woods, David Bates as examples.

Ross Callachan a very weird example. Very good at Raith Rovers, Hamilton and now a mainstay of the County side that just finished in the top 6?

So good at Raith Rovers he was in a team relegated by Brechin and not a stand out in a honking Hamilton team.

Not a stand out?

He scored nine and assisted four in 29 appearances! Ridiculous numbers for someone in the midfield of a honking team.

He was injured at the end of that season and missed the last 7 games including the play offs against Brechin and as mentioned elsewhere he scored 9 goals for relegated Hamilton last season, so you’re wrong on both counts. You may not rate him, which is fine, but to put him in the same bracket as someone like Martin Woods is fucking wild.

Ok we'll agree to disagree. I would also add Connor Sammon to the mix of jobbers. And before anyone jumps in with the 6 months where he scored a load at killie, anyone would have with Eremenko (who was a player) laying on countless chances per match for them. Look at his record elsewhere.

Nobody who has ever seen Chalmers practicing his rugby kicks would ever be left with the impression that this was a man who thought his job was to win the game of football he was playing. That what is hopefully his final act at this level is literally powering a flying header into his own net unopposed is the glittery icing on this particular turd.

How come none of our other forwards managed to score so many goals in the second half of the season after Sammon left?

Only looking on from afar, but he does seem to score a few goals in the Premiership, mainly for unfashionable teams.

Goal scoring was never his thing though. He’s a box to box midfielder who can drag your team up the park.

He was a hard worker that’s for sure. Totally frustrated the life out of me with his 40 - 50 yard shots that invariably ended up in row Z🤣🤣
