BTW, what was going on with the OAP speccy guy  - clearly a Dumbarton fan - embarrassing himself by intentionally sitting on a clyde flag and then getting escorted away but then re-appearing at half time , pitch side - with a fork in hand! Silly old fool.

If he's a groundsman, no wonder yer pitch is a disgrace.

Did he have a collection of gnomes with him?

I initially read that as having one extra letter.

Why were the Clyde fans giving it big licks toward the sons fans in the 2nd half? Well until the 2nd Dumbarton goal at least. Not as if there was any enmity in the game.

Sam Ramsbottom is a catastrophe of a keeper.

Nicol was playing well for Clyde until his horror tackle.

Farrell is a useless manager and Dumbarton will need to be a lot better in the playoffs than the shite they served up yesterday. Clyde should be liquidated just out of embarassment at losing 3 times to this shower.

I thought his performance yesterday was a disgrace. He flew into a couple of challenges before the red card one which if he had connected properly they would have been horror tackles. He just looked absolutely desperate to hurt someone which is a bizarre attitude for anyone to have nevermind a seasoned pro like him, especially is a fairly tame end of season deid rubber.

I’ve always quite liked the guy but after yesterday I’ve decided he is an absolute walloper.

Nicol is a disgrace and an embarrassment.  Yesterday's horror tackle was nigh on an assault.  One of the worst discipline records that I have ever seen in a Clyde jersey.  What was also embarrassing were the Clyde fans who applauded him off the pitch.

All in all, a howler of a game.  Wishing I had stayed at home and put the £16 spent towards a take-away.

He was passing the ball about with ease and dominating the midfield. It was an unusually decent cameo from the baldy b*****d until he lost the heid. He stood out in the middle because nobody else was passing the ball well.

I did wonder if there was a bit of Kevin that knows it’ll likely be his last game for the club and he thought he’d better ‘go out in style’. Not that that’s excusable mind you. Nor is it able to proven, he’s been horrendous in the tackle for a long time now.

Agreed

I thought he has pretty much had that outlook for the quarter of the season.

Watching it live at the game I felt there was definitely a premeditated element to it and the tackle was directed specifically at Oynisan.  The clock was running down and unfortunately an opportunity presented itself and bingo, there you go.  Apart from it being a nasty postscript to a nothing fixture, it could easily have adversely affected our play-off chances and it also severely damages Nicol's previous good reputation for his time here.

An act of madness, but we move on.

Genuinely embarrassed that we've finished below that Clyde team and I hope the players and manager feel suitably ashamed as well.

We gifted you 10 points and still finished 5 above you [emoji41]. We also picked up 10 of our points from East Fife. If it wasn’t for us you’d have been relegated outright.

If Dumbarton had DGW or Jamieson up front, OR Parry in goal, they'd have finished ahead of us.

Absolutely and although that’s 3 seasons without the need for playoffs.....it doesn’t feel like we’re an established league 1 side.

Well yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

He was voted man of match by Clyde owners
