It's a good ten minute walk from the Somerset road end so another few minutes if you're leaving the railway end. Chances are you'll get stuck trying to cross the road at Tam's Brig too.

I'd say 8/11 you miss it.

11/10 that you make it.

I'll have a bit of that 11/10 action!

It's that road that is worrying me. I likely nip away a minute or so before full-time though. Don't fancy a wait until 11 for a train home.

Leaving the game itself aside for a second, chances of a 50+ guy, fresh out of Covid isolation, making it to Netwon-On-Ayr Station in time for the 21:47 train leaving at full-time?

Looks doable but a bit tight.

I never make it but I walk slower than average due to my long legs, I an very tall.

A77 currently shut at kilmarnock after a RTA don't think it should affect folk coming down from Glasgow later on though.

If it is still shut later, it is only about an extra 10-15 minutes going down the Irvine / Barrhead road (A736)

You won't have to exert yourselves too much to go away with a win tbh.
Early goal and just coast the rest of the game.
Or score in the last 15 mins to make it even worse for us.
Scoring a goal might be difficult for us given our 'strike force' will be jakubiak and Alegria who have a combined 0 goals between them in thistle colours from a combined 18 appearances.

Initial guess at a team based on injuries etc

1-0 Ayr

Wasn't too far out with this. Bannigan rested instead of Docherty, Turner playing instead of Murray and McKenna undroppable seemingly

We are playing without any form of defensive central midfielder, so my hope has diminished hugely. I would probably prefer Maxwell to be in central midfield to give them some support and Ashford out wide now tbh.
