Knowing recently all the issues we have had with ground safety and capacity does the open grass slope at one end of the ground get shut off completely for a game like this?Presume it isn’t counted at all when it comes to counting capacity?

Grass bankings are taken into account for capacity.

It's only the SPFL matches that don't allow grass banking.

I think....

I hope he’s right and the game is at darvel but with only one entrance no toilets at far Side no segregation I have my doubts whether police will allow it

I think you have to have a plan for all of that as part of your licence so there should be no excuses.

They can’t. They are not allowed.

Aye but I am saying what is the capacity without the restrictions?

Newlandsfield capacity guidelines below…

The capacity if based in an Ayrshire or Dumbartonshire council 3k

The capacity if based in Glasgow City Council 900

So they are not allowed more than 900? Can you explain your Ayrshire comment ( no such a council as Dumbartonshire)

If they are smart about what they propose in terms of how the ground is set up for the game then i dont see why it cant be at Darvel?

Local Authority have to sign off on the capacity.

Belief is that Glasgow City Council are more stringent in that regard with Celtic & Rangers, and I suppose Hampden, on their doorstep.

I think Gall's £25K a year man will have to have his wits about him as he is going to have the police, health & safety and the SFA breathing down his neck.

He appears to be on the ball already. “Attend the Petershill game on the 10th of December…… and you can purchase three tickets. They will be making millions!
