Talbot repeatedly losing the playoffs deliberately will be the scenario that Clydebank & co dread right now but who is to say what the next 5 years hold now that clubs like that have the SPFL in their sights? Might be easier for them to get new sponsors on board and draw larger crowds  again now that Scottish Cup runs are happening and the glass ceiling has been at least partially removed.

The dynamic could be different now and the notion that Talbot wouldn't go for it could easily just be based on paranoia anyway.

Whit a load of shit. If Talbot started flinging games then it would be my cue to do one. We just couldn't keep up the pace as we were fighting on all fronts and poor draws cost us the league. As Henry said on TV "Were in it to win it". As for the SJC the Juniors were our home for 100+ years its an honour to take part in the final.

In 10 years time you might well have some sort of evidence to point to if Talbot have won 6 leagues and no play-offs but it's just the fevered ramblings of dimwits at the moment.

He is a major sponsor. Don’t think he is anything more than that. If Bowie decided not to have him more involved than that then he has done the right thing as Gall’s a bombscare.  Thank god he isn’t more involved as his comments lack any thought or class. If he made comments like that if involved at Killie he’d bring the club into disrepute.

John Gall, Kennedy, Darren Miller and others have created a dislike for Darvel. It’s not jealousy. It’s the fact that they are all classless, arrogant, unlikeable characters as their social media interactions illustrate.

They thought they’d steam roll the leagues and playoffs and get into the SPFL. That was the plan.  Don’t be surprised that fans of other clubs are taking pleasure in the fact they have failed with that plan despite the money invested. Lot of money simply to finish above Talbot. 

Things like saying “Unlucky Talbot”, “Lowland League Here We Come” on video when winning the league, the pinned tweet with the Money and the comments We Never Stop aren’t going to endear the club or players to anyone.

Never Stop. Derailed and crashed. Let’s see what happens when the money stops and where the club ends up. 

They have guaranteed themselves a warm welcome from fans at WOSFL clubs season. Top of the league for the most disliked club in the West of Scotland from top to bottom including the owner, manager, coaching staff and players.  Major achievement in such a short space of time.

Unfortunately Darvel players haven’t done the manager any favours here. Fair enough if he gave them permission to go, but they could’ve respected him a bit more than posting it all over social media, when there was always a chance it could blow up in their face.  
 
Also I wonder if he gave Miller permission to post what he was posting last night, which went far beyond banter.  If that’s what you want representing your club good luck!

Still don’t understand the anti Talbot stuff, never will. It’s insulting to even entertain the idea Talbot are even remotely non progressive, personally wish a few folk would stop treating Talbot like the awkward uncles of the WOSFL, all they’ve done in my view is recognise the junior vehicle that brought them to the here and now.

He his obviously not the brightest as he hasn’t thought that what goes around might come back around. I expect he is going to get roasted at any game he is at next season as are John Gall and others. If that happens they have no one to blame but themselves given their antics over the last few seasons.

The way Miller is behaving online would get you sacked or disciplined from any other place of employment, football club or not. Just shows what an absolute shambles the setup at Darvel is when hes basically give free reign to call people paedophiles and challenge them to fights. As a previous post stated on this thread however, these players know they can get away with things like this and attending stag doos during the season. "Mick" won't be sacked either. Hes one half of the cash cow so he leaves so does a lot of money and he'll take his neddy pals with him to the next desperate skint club open for business. Sustainable eh.
