Tonight's scores

Pollok 1 Clydebank 2

First half not much play, everything felt was forced, especially from Bankies, although Nicky should have scored when the Lok center missed the ball through his legs, think Nicki was shocked and started to fall but should have scored.  Lots of midfield battling but Bankies defending down the left side looked secure with Oisin covering everything down that side but Lok looks as if they were going to get joy down bankies right. Think Pollok hit the bar in the first 5 mins but I'm sure it was more of a cross went wrong than anything else, sure the highlights will tell better.  The bankies keeper pulled of a couple of cracker of saves near the end of the first half Second half was a bit better football although there was a Pollok player starting to loose it with tackles, think there was even a tackle with the bankies coaching staff at one point lol  Pollok eventually took him off within 10 minuites of a couple of altercations, suppose that's why Murdi gets his 4 year deal, to make those hard decisions 🤨.

Clydebank's first goal was scored by, I'm sure Matt, ball in from the Bankies left and Matt was on hand to send the ball opposite way from where Jordan was diving.
Think about 10 mins later, Lok win a free kick on the edge of the box and the free kick, not sure who took it but it was  a worldy, Cracker of a kick. After that Pollok should have been 3.1 up but for some excellent saves and defending, Bankies managed to hold out and then scored with maybe 5 mins to go, a ball fell to the Bankies player, (not sure who it was, as too far away) who slipped it past Jordan in goal leaving him helpless.  Think when Forde came on the game changed and became very exciting. Enjoyable game, especially last 25 mines.

Crowd was OK , expecting a bigger crowd for a Lok Bankies game but the 6.30 kick off doesn't help

Well done to both sets of players and fans making it an enjoyable night

We know all about ifs buts and maybes this season. So near but so far for Lok and now just playing it out for the sake of it unfortunately

That is a fair comment, don’t think you will get over the Bonnyton game as the biggest but of the season.

Can't say I'm surprised at the news from Beith last night after that display tonight and the body language of some of their players. Hopefully Butch gets another chance somewhere else soon.

Take nothing away from Largs, they were absolutely rampant throughout the park and the only consolation for Beith was it could have been more. Thistle just blew them away after such a good start for the visitors too.
