Wont be inexperienced or ambitious youth types. Tried, tested and safe hands (with a dislke of Hearts, The Rangurs and anything not green & white) - welcome back to Scottish football Lenny with Brown in as his assistant.

If the board are looking for dazzling powerpoint skills they should make sure Gary Caldwell gets a chance to shine.

However, he may later parp that as a former Scottish international he's decided he can only coach elite level players, and you will have to give him his jotters in a travel tavern in Penrith, like we did.

Sure the Hibs fans will be gutted to know McPake probably can't start until next season as he's just had another major operation on his knee. I'm sure Mark McGhee would be happy to warm the dugout for him in the mean time, however.

It's been a tough couple of years for Hibs and I'd hope that they can finally get the type of manager in that their fans want and deserve.

Fantasy pic assuming Ron’s a secret billionaire.  Marcelo Bielsa.  But the shitter is the media up here will be doing everything to get John Kennedy in there.  So, f**k it.  Some Peruvian random woman’s basketball coach.

More of the Dundee team fans should try to tout Mark McGhee for the job. That would be really funny.

As a non-Hibee here is my take on these names: [FWIW]

David Gray: Assistant, too soon for manager
Kevin Thomson: NO
Johnathan Woodgate: Too risky
Malky McKay: Absolutely NO WAY!
Kjetil Knutsen:  Bigger fish to fry
James McPake: You are joking!
Alan Stubbs: Statue for Stubbs, but NO
Neil Lennon: Hate figure but possible
David Martindale: JCAFM! Nay, nay and thrice nay!
John Kennedy: Cushy job at Celtic
Scott Brown: Assistant, too soon for manager
Ronny Deila: Had his chance
Paul Lambert: Past his sell-by date
Sean Dyche: Yes,but won't come
