Salvo Montalbano
Falkirk fans have been bemoaning their luck with refereeing decisions this season but they've certainly enjoyed the luck of the draw in the Cup. Two non-league sides away (including one epic away day and one TV game), two home ties against non Premiership opposition and then avoiding the cheeks in the semi finals. Only way their luck could improve is if they qualify to play Rangers in the final then they die again before the game gets played!

I heard or read somewhere that "5 or 6" clubs are going for licences. That isn't to say they'd all succeed. Glenafton Athletic of the WOS Premier Division announced their success during the week:

We’re going to have at least 3 TV matches, quarter share of Semi Final attendance monies and at least quarter of a million in prize money. Luck in the draws, probably so, but maybe we deserve some luck.
HibeeJibee
By my reckoning the first club from landward Perthshire to appear in Scottish Cup since Vale of Atholl in 1955.

Ginaro
So compared to this season it's going to be +Abbey Vale, Beith, Creetown, Culter, Glenafton and -Syngenta for a net gain of 4=130? Edited May 10 by Ginaro
