Argos' RB Andrew Harris has become the 6th & only Canadian player to surpass 10000yds rushing in CFL history. Touchdown Atlantic week 6 Harris moved into 4th spot in yards from scrimmage a statistic in which he is also the top Canadian player. RB Mike Pringle sits atop both lists on 16245yds & 20555yds respectively. Harris is imo the best pro footballer never to have played at collegiate level. Post high school he played junior football with the Vancouver Island Raiders of the Canadian Junior Football League.

I see the XFL has announced the 8 cities for their February relaunch.
Arlington (Dallas)
Houston
Las Vegas
Seattle
Washington DC
San Antonio
St Louis
Orlando.
Full branding to be announced in tye coming months.

San Antonio & Las Vegas are new teams while Orlando is a re-location of the Tampa Bay Vipers. Tampa move makes sense as it's not far from Orlando & Tampa now has the Bandits in the USFL. NY Guardians & LA Wildcats are deid.

The ELF has confirmed it's expanding with three teams joining for the 2023 season in the Fehérvár Enthroners, Zürich Helvetic Guards & Milano Seaman (nae snickering at the back). The Enthorners & Seamen are existing teams currently playing in their respective domestic leagues while the Helvetic Guards are a new creation.

ELF have confirmed a team from Munich will be joining next year taking the number of new teams for next season to four. The league's plan over the next few years is to expand to twenty four teams across Europe. Claymores revival anyone?

I'm not convinced the naming rights to either the Claymores or Monarchs are available - I seem to remember both being gifted to BAFA when NFLE closed down.

I'm also not convinced that the standard of player in Scotland is anywhere near good enough - no senior Scottish team has been in the domestic final for years now, and no Scottish youth side has won a British title since 2003. Glasgow reached the final in 2005 and I don't know if any other side has even played in a final since.

If any UK based team joins this it will be 1 of the London teams (most likely the Warriors), and they almost certainly won't play as the Monarchs.

Fun yin in Calgary featuring a 20 point 4th quarter by the Lions who won it with a Sean Whyte field goal on the last play of the game. Rather seething I fell asleep at half time thus missed it.

The Argonauts have been dealt a massive blow as star RB Andrew Harris has been ruled out for the season with a torn pec muscle that requires season ending surgery.

Shout out to Roughriders WR Duke Williams who incured a fine for a nacho eating TD celebration. Violation of the leagues security policy or fun police you decide.

Also here's the average attendances thus far this season. No suprise the Prairies occupy the top four spots while Toronto languishes in last.

Blue Bombers become the first team to book their place in the playoffs with plenty to spare. At this point hard to look past the Blue Bombers winning their 3rd Grey Cup in a row.

In response to Canadian poster boy QB Nathan Rourke being out for the season with a Lisfranc sprain & backup Michael O'Connor also going down the Lions have acquired Vernon Adams Jr from the Als in exchange for a 2023 first rounder. The leagues been in quarterback shuffle mode all season with only the Bombers & Argos having not made a change at QB thus far. The most curious shuffle is the Stamps dropping future HOF player Bo Levi Mitchell for Jake Maier who has been taking snaps since Mitchell was benched at half time during week 11's game vs the Argos.
