By my reckoning Rugby Park still has a capacity of around 15.5k but there's only going to be about 12.5k at the game

Mentioned earlier in the thread 14,700 is the capacity on this season's safety certificate.

Slightly breezy, nothing out the ordinary by the looks of it.

A 6mph Zephyr at Gayfield had Killie complaining about conditions causing them to put in a poor performance. Gusting up to 35 mph...how are Killie gonna cope with that !!

No such thing as a 6mph zephyr at Gayfield. It’s only ever gale force winds comparable with Neptune’s equator.

That first game in September was near perfect conditions with the flag hanging limp for large parts of the game. Even when the wind picked up a little it was no more than a slightly stiff breeze. Didn’t stop some Killie fans and sections of the media trotting out the usual tired cliches. I even read it described as a “wind tunnel”.

Both games at Gayfield the conditions were fine. First game was a snorefest, second was when McInnes had just arrived, was trying to fit his loan signings in and settled by a goalkeeping error. Despite Arbroath winning 2 and drawing 1 in the 3 previous games, there's been very little between the teams.

Difference this time is we don't have Tommysaurus in charge, McInnes is bedded in and knows his players, we have good home form going into the game and 1 defeat in 8 home and away. We are due some good fortune against Arbroath, Friday night is as good a time as any.

Despite the adversity we have faced this season, a win at home to the only part time side in the league will win the championship, that's all that matters.

Worries? We've none mate ... 😘

Yes i couldn't believe it when Wright also came out with the "conditions" excuse , hope it is blowing a hooley then advantage Arbroath we seem to be percieved as the wind masters.😉
