RossBFaeDundee
Mark McGhee will never, ever win as a Dundee manager.
The Saintee
Point gained perhaps? Bit of a missed opportunity though considering other results.
mizfit
Point gained perhaps? Bit of a missed opportunity though considering other results.A point gained and the gap with 12th remains the same. Not the worst result. They were there for it after our goal and we failed to take advantage
Loemba90
Wasn’t too arsed about the result but Dundee failing to win and that fat creep keeping his clothes on is the main thing.
EpicMike
If Dundee sat back under instruction from McGhee then it's proof that he should not be given the job next season. The goal came from Sweeney picking the ball up then losing it as he had no one to pass to due to being the furthest person forward, the fucking centre back! Instead of a counter attack Dundee ended up defending two corners, barely survived the first one but conceded on the second.

Kyle
Very poor first half performance from Saints, much improved second half. I’m frustrated we settled for a point in the last 10 minutes or so as we’d have given ourselves the chance to go above St Mirren next week with a win. I suppose this keeps Dundee at arms length and we can haul the other two in over the course of the last 4 games, if we can replicate the second half performance in the other games. First half Saints would be doomed. Edited April 23, 2022 by Kyle
Ludo*1
Time to start the clear out for us. All the best for the rest of the season St Johnstone unless it's against Arbroath. But if it's against Billy Dodds, well f**k Billy Dodds.
PauloPerth
Yes the start of that game by Saints with a big noisy away support behind them was terrible. Dundee were very lively and deserved to be ahead. They have players who can beat an opponent which we massively lack. Hallberg was an absolute passenger in that first half. The frustration at our side to side passing was huge with no one willing to step out with the ball. Last 10 minutes we upped the tempo and continued that at the start of the second half. Disappointed after scoring with Dundee looking rattled that we didn’t capitalise. We sat back and Dundee finished stronger. I guess the priority was not losing which looked a huge possibility during that first half. Still feel we could have gone for it a bit more but a draw about right.
dd232
Down we go. Keeper was giving indications all through the first half of what would eventually happen. Woeful after the first half hour, no threat at all in the second half. Wouldn't be sad not to see many of those guys next year...

Jamie_B
I thought that was genuinely pathetic from us after the equaliser. We were on the front foot, had the game where we wanted it, equalised then just stopped. Three points today would have been huge given other results. Instead we had Davidson raging at the fourth official about there being too much injury time.

Ludo*1
Mark McGhee's tactic of trying to hold on and go defensive from right after we scored was severely inept management. He's went ahead of Jim McIntyre for me.

johnnydun
Delusional c**t. Psychology worked' - McGhee FT: Dundee 1-1 St Johnstone Dundee manager Mark McGhee believes his pre-match psychology worked and his bottom-placed side can still avoid relegation from the top flight. The Dens Park had vowed to go naked if his side beat St Johnstone, while also revealing during the week that he had not turned his heating on and was on a strict diet to show his players the sacrifices needed for success. "Of course it worked," he tells BBC Scotland. "You can't say it didn't work because we drew the game. "We started brilliantly - the attitude going into this was 'we're going to win this game' - at half-time it looked like there was only going to be one winner. So, yes, of course it worked and it'll work going into the remaining games because we are not conceding. "We have four games left - anything can happen - and, as long as our players remain in the frame of mind, they've still got a chance of winning football matches."
