HibeeJibee
Final was confirmed earlier in the month as being Sunday 26th March at 2pm at Whitehill. Oddly enough it hosted last EOS Cup Final between 2 qualifiers almost a quarter of a century ago. In terms of crowd and interest I reckon this may be the biggest City Cup Final in a generation. Both sides will be eager for silver and Gala to 'turn tables' on 10 months ago.
Burnieman
Jeezo, just in case the pitch wasn't being used enough!

The point is of course that with two clubs using the ground, there's perhaps less risky options available.
grinderbrokeyourhearts
Will be an interesting game with the Rose having the most important league game of the season now scheduled 3 days later!
HibeeJibee
Jeanfield are effectively 11pts behind with 8 games left. Hopefully a bumper turnout on Sunday for the grand old cup: only other fixtures are Spartans v Gretna, plus Raith v Hamilton at Falkirk (ko 4:30pm).

Whitehill is an ideal surface and bang in the middle for both.

Correct, who wants to play on plastic if there is a suitable grass option.
Spyro
Ironically Ferguson Park seems to be the only grass park in the area that can handle a shower these days. Unreal the amount of games that are called off because of some rain.
grinderbrokeyourhearts
FT 2-2 Gala won 4-3 on penalties. Poor finishing and decision making in the box cost the Rose. Should have been out of sight by HT with Gala going down to 10 men. Fair play to Gala, kept at it and were excellent the last 20 mins. 4 pens over the bar not good enough. Enjoy your night Fairies!

Cracking game for the neutral though in front of a decent crowd. An early goal settling nerves and gk Sent off just before half time then going 2 0 up ye should've been out of sight. Ye made subs 2nd half when you were dominant. Gala came back into it and were rewarded for their efforts. 4 pens over bar was bizarre. Here's the Gala penalty making it 2 1 in normal time. A decent day out.

bobbydazzler
gutted for the big keeper, 3 saves in a shootout and nothing. missing 4 pens is bad but blazing 4 into orbit is inexcusable. great game for neutral to watch, thought the game changed with subs made by both teams in second half. Nice wee setup at Whitehill also, good place to watch football Edited March 26, 2023 by bobbydazzler posted before finished.
