Pars vs Thistle - Tue 22nd Mar

Recommended Posts

Why is Todd playing ahead of Comrie? Why is that even happening?

Cause our manager’s an idiot. Comrie hasn’t been at his best this season, but playing Todd there ahead of him is just dumb. 2 games in a row he’s done this as well. Would be surprised if Thistle didn’t attack down their left hand side a lot, to exploit Todd. Then again, they should also be shooting on sight to exploit Mehmet. Basically, we’ve got too many weaknesses defensively tonight and not enough of a goal threat at the other end…

To be fair to Todd he's done fine at right back so far. I'd have Comrie though obviously, future Scotland cap.

I’ve seen him play there twice and he wasn’t asked to do a thing defensively in either game tbh.

Doesn’t Tiffoney play on the left for Thistle? If Todd can handle him then fair play.

Hopefully finally see Billy Mehmet get his first Pars goal tonight.

You’d think that with our long pitch, the manager would want to stretch the game and get our forward players into plenty of space. Not passing it sideways whilst the opponents pack their box then find there’s no option for a final ball.

6-0 home win. COYP!

OFW away for family reasons and the boy from Leicester on international duty with Poland U21s.
