so for all the shouting theres basicaly no change

Wasn't expecting anything to come out of the shareholders meeting yesterday.

The Trust Board put forward proposals for mediation between it and the Club Board, suspending their intention to remove the 3 club directors of the Club Board if they agreed to enter into discussions on the proposals. Those proposals seemed quite comprehensive to me and were only sent out a week ago. The fact we haven't heard anything (as far as I'm aware) suggests to me that the proposals haven't been dismissed out of hand, and is perhaps a sign that the 2 sides are talking.

Don't know why Colin Rowley resigned, and the Trust Board would, I imagine, be able to resubmit a resolution to remove the existing Club directors if they felt the circumstances warranted it.

Further to what already been said, Trust Members received official notification of the Trust AGM to be held on the 18th of August.

7 people have put their names forward to be elected onto Trust Board. Some of those who have their names forward you have to wonder why they are standing given some of their comments on Facebook posted by them.

Also includes the Club Doctor ! Given what the players said in their Twitter Statement about him, find it very strange he is standing. Also the Wellbeing and Child Protection Officer for the Club and Junior Academy is also standing for the Trust Board.

Resolution by Alasdair Dunn regarding the Articles of Association at the Club that require to be updated to bring them in line with other Fan owned Clubs.

Also a resolution to remove one member of the Trust Board for allegations of miss conduct.

Jim is exactly the type of person that should be on any board, mild mannered, professional, understanding and very level headed. He'll certainly gets my vote when it comes around.

As for your remarks about the Club Doctor by the players, I must have missed that.

The players put out a statement on the Club Twitter account about the situation what is going on and said it would be a shame to lose the Physio and the Club Doctor. I think most people took it that if the Club Board are removed that they would leave the Club.

Also the Club Doctor was one of those who signed a resolution to have the Entire Trust Board removed without giving a reason why they wanted them all removed. Find it strange he now want`s to join the Trust Board. 🤨 (You can read the full statement on Page 36 of this thread)

So, in summary, a whole raft of club board supporters with no previous attachment to or interest in the club suddenly joined the trust.

Some of those people signed a resolution to get rid of the trust board individually despite having no knowledge of the people on that board.

Some of those people are now seeking to be elected to the trust board despite having no previous connection to the club and, in some instances, publicly denouncing fan ownership.  And this despite the fact that the whole point of the trust is to promote and embrace fan ownership.

Well, that's not at all suspicious or mad or sinister.

I have a lot of time for Stuart Brown to be honest, always comes across well in his efforts and commitment to the club although, being chairman the buck does stop with him regarding successive bad managerial appointments so can understand to an extent the criticism levelled at him.

John Daly however is an absolute weapon of a guy, some of the snidey digs at elements of the clubs supporters in his 'fan liason' bulletins are nothing short of disgraceful.

Surely Stuart should  be judged on the balance sheet and not on the day to day football matters which is Darren’s job 👍

Stuart Brown should be judged on the balance sheet ! Rubbish as Chairman of this Club for nearly 8 years, this Club has gone backwards on the field. As Chairman he has failed to deliver despite hiring and sacking on most occasions managers who he helped appoint to get us promoted out of this League.

The most important thing at this Club like any other Club is the team on the park. Get that right and supporters will be happy. Get it wrong and supporters will be unhappy. The performances over the last couple of years have been poor to say the least. Its time for him to go.

Correct

Rhliston doesn't know how a football club works. He think's Stuart Brown gives the team talks, picks the starting XI, does the tactics and scouts & signs players.

The number of allegations you shit out without context or evidence is laughable  "the deliberate removal of £4000 of club money to an account that is not a club account."   Context. What is the name of the account?  Who can access the account? Who set the account up and when?  That's context. Without context there's just a bunch of man babies trying to make a gotcha out of nothing. Money was deposited in an account club officials have control of. It is a total lie to claim that is not a club account. To claim it is not you require proof that someone other than club officials control it and of course you don't have that because it doesn't exist. Go on, tell the plebs who originally set the account in question up. Or do I have to do it?

If club officials are in control of the account and are the only ones who can access it, then no money was removed from the club. Try going to court claiming it was and see how that works out for you. Don't tell me about a lack of answers without telling me what the questions were.

What would be pertinent would be some evidence that the money deposited in that account was used or disposed of in an improper or illegal way. Evidence of that presented by the Trust board to date. f**k ALL!  Nothing but a hysterical hissy fit over money being deposited in one account controlled by club officials rather than another.  Prove someone else other than the club owns or controls that account. Prove it or shut it.  Prove even part of that money was spent or disposed of in an improper or illegal way. You can't or you'd have done it.

The club has its own legal persona.  If money has been moved into the account that is not the club's the it matters not one iota who has control of the account.  It is no longer the club's money.

Committees have appointed the last few managers, not just SB.

Think it is common knowledge who SB wanted before the club appointed Dave Mackay but let’s just ignore that and blame him anyway!
