A Message to All Stirling Albion Trust Members

Recommended Posts

There you have it.  An Alloa supporter who means the club no harm, but uses information obtained from a director in conversation to stab him and the board with it.  When asked how many international viewers Alloa had on livestream on average, his data suddenly becomes too precious to share.  I've to take this self confessed backstabber on trust.  Not happening!

Just received an e mail from the Trust Board

It reads

The Stirling Albion Supporters Trust has been mandated to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of its members. The purpose of this is to remove the current Trust Board and replace it by unnamed new trustees.

The signatories of this petition , the vast majority of whom only joined the Trust in recent weeks and have never been members previously, include employees of the Club as well as all the Directors of the Club.

Well that`s interesting.

I really haven't a clue whats going on here. Is this an attempted power grab by the Club Board?

Looks like it, would be interested in seeing who asked for this EGM.

Numbers please Trust board?  Exactly how many new member signatories constitute the vast majority of some 70 or so of them?

The two people who signed the resolution are certainly not new members. Why leave that out?  Is it just more of the suggestive digestive, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more sort of release that's become the norm?   Come on boys, after all the devil is in the detail.

The devil is in the chairmans seat

Looking to rest control of the club

And you're his lynch mob that he's curied along for years chumming up to

Can't see the wood for the trees

If anybody gets lynched, it'll be by the membership after hearing both sides of any arguments put. You've got a gift for the dramatic there though, I'll give you that.  The chairman can't wrest control of the club from anybody.  Neither does he want to.

He's done well since he was in the civil service.

Gives me something to aspire to.

They don't like it up them. I was just thinking. A stout rope is no use without a sturdy tree. Where's that bloody wood he's talking about?
