Sadly the big man himself died last year during covid pandemic. Aye, never had anything I couldn't eat from there . On that unfortunate night I went to the one in Melrose I thought I'd try it on my way home from work as it's closer to home , the fish was absolutely rank you could have soled your boot with it and walked back to Melrose it wasn't long after when I heard it had been served with a closure notice, the new owners seem ok been in a couple of times stuff I've had been decent
alta-pete
Remember Rishi’s Eat Out to Help Out? Searching the site when it was on, there wasn’t a single Chinese restaurant within 5 miles of Stirling participating. It seems the trade off between allowing HMRC a 4 week snapshot of actual trade wasn’t worth revealing in return for a few redemption vouchers.

It's a great way of bringing over a few " cousins " into the country, a guy I know of used to set up a chip shop run it for a while the bring over some relatives and move on to another premises. Bad luck at the card tables was the reason for one local Chinese take away changing hands
topcat(The most tip top)
Chapter one coffee on Dalry Road (between Haymarket and Tynecastle)It’s entirely vegan but, unusually for vegans, doesn’t make a big deal out of it so if you order a latte and a ham and cheese sandwich you only find out when it arrives that it’s not cheese, not ham and not latte

It had big white hard bits through the meat. I later confronted the owner guy who was in the Old Bank one night and told him. He said he was aware of this and often got one of his employees to pick them out wherever possible as he thought it was either bone or plastic. Fucking Yummeh Mummeh.

Crunch munch is a dessert takeaway that seems to have about 4 businesses on just eat. Not the best place in Perth and notorious for forgetting to deliver food, or taking 3 hours to deliver something like a milkshake. Also, further up there’s this place that I find weird. I’ve never seen anyone go in, never had anything myself, but it seems to have been opened for 20 years somehow. I wonder whats getting in that hole in the door.

Eatmygoal
Okay, probably not Scotland's worst, but I tried the Blue Lagoon and it was rank. West coasters seem to hail it as this amazing cultural establishments. Are they all that bad or worse? or is it simply overhyped by those not in the know?

mizfit
No they don’t.They opened one in Perth, and aye it was alright but I’d only go if my preferred places were stowed out completely.
Mark Connolly
Blue Lagoon is just bang average. It's handy for central and the big taxi queue, which gets it an extra point

Fucking mental but simply not enough resources to deal with organised crime in this country. Government green deal helped some crime gangs make millions doing the insulation etc. 10 hours ago, alta-pete said: Remember Rishi’s Eat Out to Help Out? Ever see a casino in Glasgow after the chinese takeaways close? These businesses make a fucking fortune but then the casinos take it off them lol.

Albus Bulbasaur
I was in Glasgow a wee while back and was going to go to Pizza Hut but hadn't factored in that it was Saturday dinner time so the place was heaving, couldn't be arsed to wait in the queue so wandered down Buchanan Street to find an easy takeaway, found a chippy type place and ordered a pizza, it was the most disgusting pizza I've ever eaten, I'd genuinely rather eat a micro pizza. It blew my mind how they could make one taste so bad, I thought generic chippy pizzas all shared some formula and therefore all tasted the same but this was rank. Place was called Pizza Crolla and I'm presuming it only survives from naive tourists and visitors.
