SKY BET LEAGUE GAME 4 - 21/08/22

NORTHAMPTON 0  ROCHDALE 0

This was a close fought game between these two teams and in the end a point was a fair result although both sides will feel that they could have won  the game.

Both sides did he good chances to won this game but both keepers were up to the challenge of keeping them out.

In the end 90 minutes of frustration for the two sides and its hard to know who will be happier with the draw.

Crewe visit the Crown Oil Stadium in the 2nd Round of the Caraboa Cup next.

CARABAO CUP R2 - 24/08/21

ROCHDALE 2  CREWE ALEXANDER 1

A smash and grab mate winner saw Rochdale progress through to round 3 of the Carabao Cup.

The first half was fairly even balanced but it was an og that saw Rochdale in front at ht.

Crewe were on top in the second half but for all that never seriously troubled the Dale keeper as much as they should have.

Crewe certainly looked the more likely to win it after they equalised but in the end a stoppage time equaliser saw Rochdale through.

Next up is the Sky Bet League 2 home game against Colchester.
