Wosfl Premier Division Trapdoor

Don't know how much scope the WOSFL have to change that when it's quite clearly outlined in the actual Laws of the Game. They have scope to alter some laws but no chance can they change one that is so fundamental.

52 points for Benburb and still relegated.
And a +7 goal difference.
The 7 teams going down (35% of the league) was always going to be brutal, but that's what the clubs voted for, so we and Benburb just have to get on with life in the new First Division. That's football.

I'm sure the SFA told the WOSFL that the top league has to get down to 16 within two years.  Covid fecked up the first year but the SFA still wanted it so a vote had to be sorted to choose or am I wrong ?

In retrospect that's what we want done a high percentage of teams moving, a 3 teams promoted from your division and 3 teams relegated which is 6 teams from 16 and the same shoudl be in the SPFL2 top and bottom and in the Lowland n Highland league and WOSFL and EOSFL both champions promoted and both 2nd placed teams fight in  a play off so its one 3rd up and 1 3rd down in each league so the leagues will all change and a good flow of new teams and old teams moving back and forth and whoever is good enough moves up the divisions until they reach their level, the same for the ones not good enough

The WoSFL clubs were given a choice of 7 clubs down from the Premier in one season or 5 clubs down over two seasons. The majority chose the first option. The Covid break was not a factor.

Agreed, so its no big deal, it would have been better staggered but it was voted for as you say by the teams
