This started a process which, under the Constitution and Rules, takes a specified amount of time which cannot be speeded up. The delay is unfortunate, but the rules have to be applied. Rules......... If they don't suit here's another set we made earlier. lol

Agreed, it is a pity, but decisions made using common sense only, can be challenged and that just delays the outcome.
St.Inan
Might be useful if the processed was described, for example what comments/ evidence needs to be collected and taken into account/consideration, who is involved in the process (no individuals need to be mentioned and should not be) and what the timescales are in order to comply with any rules protocols etc. Not asking to compromise the situation in anyway just a general note of the procedural requirements and no mention of any actual cases mentioned, can't see that that would be too difficult to do and might just allay some of the criticism. Asking for genuine constructive reasons and actually believe it would be helpful to everyone.

When a complaint is raised, it makes the matter a Disciplinary issue which starts a process which takes a minimum of a week, as the party being complained about has a week to respond to the complaint under the terms of the Constitution and Rules. A Disciplinary Hearing is then held on the soonest possible date to establish if any wrongdoing has taken place. Hopefully that explains the delay in any announcement of a decision to this point.
St.Inan
Thanks for that Glensmad, very helpful for me anyway, are the Constitution & Rules available on the West of Scotland website or anywhere else?

I don't believe they are, but they are available to all club committee members through the Scottish FA Club Admin Site.

The rules for the SPFL, LL, HL (now 404), SOS, SJFA, Midlands are all available online - why can't the WOS rules be public as well?

Was basically joking with that bit. The goalie as a trialist angle seems to be within the rules and hence fair game. Think there's a major leap in logic on moving from that to Glencairn's secretary masterminding the abandoned game scenario but the truth is out there.... Oh, I don't know, here's a picture of him.

theesel1994
So I assume no punishment for Blantyre Victoria? No massive points deduction next season? What about in the Killie Pie Cup - no punishment for Cambuslang and Darvel withdrawing? Or are Darvel going on the logic they won't be here next season so won't be caring?
