I'm too young to have seen him in his prime he seemed to come on for the second half every other game as if he only had about 45 minutes running a fortnight left in him. But it would be a good 45

Andy Webster appears to be one of only two players to have won the cup with both Hearts and United (Twice with Hearts)

The other is Steve Banks who was understudy to Craig Gordon in 2006 and Dušan Perniš in 2010

Steve Banks was also on the bench as back up to Alan Mannus for Saints in the 2014 Final.  Therefore he has 3 Scottish Cup winners medals from 3 different clubs without playing a minute in any of the finals.

You don't get a medal if unused subbie.

Ah ok.

But clubs up and down the country in the later stages of the cup should sign him on a short term contract and stick him on the bench for the final.  He's a lucky charm.

Best for both and someone without stain on his character.

The Dundee United fans that I read were all saying he was shite when we signed him from them.

“Amen, Amen ,Eamon Bannon”

Auld enough to remember this great fitba player but also auld enough to remember the 1988 Scottish cup final. United 1-0 up and the bah falls to Bannon in the box with only the keeper to beat.
Goes for the header into the ground then bounce into the net but…. Flys ower the bar.

End result Selic Twa utd 1. Ach well it wiz thir century year.
Other memory of europe game..
Eamon Bannon 5. Borussia Monchengladbach 0. But only if memory serves me right?

Moving away from the pervs…,it should be a good game today, both teams playing attacking football.

A narrow hearts win.

In about the powder early aye.

Be lucky to see a shot on target from United let alone any sort of "attacking" play.
