microdave
The battle of the mudheaps takes place (pitch condition permitting) on Saturday at the Rock. Sons will be missing Paton and MacLean after their red cards at Peterhead who the Spiders overcame on Tuesday evening at Firhill. I don't give us much hope of getting a positive result but you never know. This would be a great time for Oyinsan to get back to full fitness.
williebraveheart
No excuses. Both teams will be used to the surface. Silky football throughout.

Based on the three games already this season I'm pretty sure we do. I heard that Oyinsan had a reaction at training last week, so we could be looking at Duthie and Stokes up front.

It looks like someone has been tearing it up with a dirt bike.

Firhill’s a minus 2.

Aye, these were the days when you dreaded getting out of bed, the clothes were on top of the blanket to help keep you warm, then the heart sank as the tattie bus appeared to pick you up for another day of drudgery on the park

I got goosebumps remembering the early starts and getting on the beastie bus. Every day it was Tomato soup or Scotch Broth in the flask and cheese sarnies.
Bring Your Own Socks
Less than 4 weeks since these two auld clubs met and despite 3 points for QP, it was a tight affair and I don’t expect anything different tomorrow. Our win against Peterhead has flickered hope, again, but our underlying problem still exists. Frustration from Tuesday was the chalking off of two very good goals due to marginal offsides. Not frustration with the decisions but poor skills by attackers not staying the right side of the line. This has been a common occurrence all season from a number of players. Let’s hope the new Scotia -Dutch style can be as effective as Tuesday.

Balmackewan for Tatties, and Charlton for the Berries It was grim We used to stick a tattie in a kit kat wrapper and stick it on the exhaust manifold of the tractor, by dinner time it was a smashing baked tattie
Mick1867
We really have to follow up Tuesday night's good performance and result with another win here. Since October we've not been able to gain any momentum at all but what I saw on Tuesday has given me hope that we can make these play offs. Much more direct with our attacking, the caretaker boss and players seemed to have learned from past efforts. It was also good to hear the support reacting to that. We're not happy clapping robots, most will give an honest reaction to what we witness. Give us decent performances and we'll react in a positive manner.
spiders4ever
Or give the players encouragement and they might give a good performance.
