And I have no idea how Broadfoot didn’t score a few minutes before the goal either. Aye, fair enough. Though if you had been watching us over the last 3-4 months you’d have seen that on multiple occasions. This is the worst I’ve ever seen us.

Fuctifano
I think if we'd have conceded to Kirk Broadfoot 3 games running I'd have turned the game off.

Inverness aren't comfortably above Raith now, or indeed anyone else in the division other than the bottom two. On their current trajectory they'll be finishing 7th unless they sack that chump Dodds - and that might not even be effective. Edited March 4, 2022 by vikingTON
jagtastic
Did we score from a corner that looked like it might even have been practiced on the training ground or am I glorifying it after sitting through the preceding 85 mins? Good composure from Holt to just place it on target. Docherty could take note, he'd have had another go at taking the net off. Some Ayr fans seem much more upset about the pitch than anyone else for some reason. Edited March 4, 2022 by jagtastic

Thistle_do_nicely
Missed the game live, watched it on record after work there. So pleased, win hopefully gets the season back on the rails. Undecided on Allegria, couple of good chances inside the box (looked a belting first touch for the first) and either poor finishing or poor luck to not hit the target with either, faded 2nd half too. If we go with two strikers i like us having graham/allegria/jakubiak to fit in there imo, with one on the bench to come on later on. The little guy that came on for caley was sharp, stood out as one of their better players when he came on. Samuels weak defensively, we couldnt get in so easilly down our right once he was off, which helped caley come back into it 2nd half. Also a lot more confident with sneddon in goal now, some poor kicks but the caley keeper was the same so probably - shock horror - the pitch to blame for that. Not a lot to do but he looks confident when called on. Draw wouldve been fair, some very scrappy head and foot tennis for what felt like 90% of that match. It was a difficult surface (as has been mentioned to death) and we managed to play some nice stuff on it in the first half (particularly with Connor Murray I thought) and Caley had a couple of decent bits of play in the 2nd (although struggled to find a finish). It was far from a classic, but I didn’t think it was that boring a game in all honesty.
JagsCG
Bannigan, Holt and Foster were tremendous for us tonight. Graham was well dealt with by Broadfoot for pretty much the entire match, Alegria still looks a bit raw but he still offers a decent threat at this level based on his showings so far. Turner is fair racking up the assists, it’s incredible he often struggles to get into the side. Murray did well in the first half, and Jakubiak was good when he came on also. Don’t care if it’s 1-0s til the end of the season, we just need to get the 3pts.
