Livingston v Dundee United - Wednesday 2 March 2022

Recommended Posts

Plucky but largely uninspiring performance from us today away to a rampant Livingston side.

I rarely make predictions in match threads but I’m going for 1-0 us with Benji scoring in the 97th minute after a 90 yard mazie (sp?).

Would imagine we'll go unchanged barring any injuries. The side that started against the other Dundee side would probably be our strongest 11. Nouble and Forrest being able to play either wing is great and keeps opposing full backs on their toes. It's going to be a much tighter game tonight though, most of the games between the two sides have been fairly tight recently in terms of score. Hopefully a nice home win along with wins for Celtic, Dundee and Ross County

Yeah we've got Nouble this time, which will make a big difference with his physicality in our attack, but they've got Watt, who always gave us a torrid time when we played Motherwell. They've drawn their last 3 away league games, scoring just 1 goal, hopefully our front 3 of Forrest- Anderson- Nouble will be able to open up their tight defence.

Freeman starting in midfield is an interesting one though!

Not keen on this.  Would have preferred to see Butcher and Harkes sitting with Mochrie or Meekison given a chance.

Generally agree but it will be interesting to see how it works.  Freeman was very good prior to injury but Smith’s recent performances have made it difficult to drop him.
